BASH'd! A Gay Rap Opera is an
explosive musical that chronicles the tale of Jack and Dillon; two young lovers
who must cope with the reality of homophobic hatred when Jack is brutally
beaten, prompting Dillon to seek revenge.
Narrated by fictional homo-hip-hop superstars T-Bag and Feminem,
BASH'd! is told almost entirely through rap, championing equal marriage and the
global LGBTQ community, whilst turning the often-homophobic musical genre on
its head and returning it to its social action roots.
Written and performed by Canadian actor/playwrights Chris Craddock and Nathan Cuckow.
